St. Andrew’s In House Worship Service

We are excited to be opening the church doors on September 12 for Sunday morning worship!
Decisions have been made in line with government protocols. Here are some of the key points as found on the Health Unit website:

  • capacity is limited to the number of people who can distance at least two metres;

  • attendees must stay 2 metres apart from each other, except if they live in the same household;

  • mask/face coverings must be worn indoors.

Regarding vaccination, they “encourage members to get both doses of their COVID-19 vaccines, so they are fully protected against the virus.”

In order to help plan and prepare for the service, we are asking you to register online by accessing the church website:

You may also help others if they are unable to register themselves. Also, you can leave a telephone message at the church. As we have been doing all along, the service will continue to be uploaded onto our website, YouTube and Facebook.

Our Sunday morning worship service will look and feel different. We will not have our usual choir with their robes or the STAND singers and musicians in the front. We will not have Sunday school for the kids. We will not have coffee social.
BUT, we will have the presence of God as His people gather to worship Him. If you are able and comfortable to do so, we hope you will join us.

Purchases of cards year to date totals $91,327. Our profit is $6,606. Until we are able to make cards available in St. Andrew’s Hall after Church Services, we wish to thank those who have continued to support St. Andrew's in this way. Please continue to order by calling (705-324-4842) or emailing (admin@standrewslindsay.com) the church office and your order will be prepared for pickup. We continue to carry the same grocery, hardware, gasoline and dining out cards as always. Remember each $100 card purchased earns over $6.00 for St. Andrew's !!

There will be a limited number of people to begin with so that social distancing may be maintained. You must sign in and use hand sanitizer. Masks will be worn. It is also recommended that participants be fully vaccinated.

Heartfelt thanks to our St. Andrew’s members who have donated $1225.00 towards furnishing a room in the new shelter at A Place Called Home!
If you are interested in helping St. Andrew’s to raise another $4275.00, you may drop off a cheque at the church made out to ‘A Place Called Home’.
