Heartfelt thanks to our St. Andrew’s members who have donated $675.00 towards furnishing a room in the new shelter at A Place Called Home! Construction is almost 30% complete with windows roughed in for the basement and first floor. ICF construction is continuing up to the second floor and site work is ongoing. If you are interested in helping St. Andrew’s to raise another $4825.00, you may drop off a cheque at the church made out to ‘A Place Called Home’.
You may also go to apch.ca and follow the link to Canada Helps. Please put St. Andrew’s Church on the comment line. All donations will receive a charitable receipt from APCH. Thank You!

As St. Andrew’s plans to reopen, it has been decided that Lectio Divina will be offered again.
When? Every Tuesday starting on Sept. 7 at 1:00.
Requirements: email or telephone your intention to the church admin@standrewslindsay.com
or 705-324-4842. There will be a limited number of people to begin with so that social distancing may be maintained. You must sign in and use hand sanitizer. Masks will be worn. It is also recommended that participants be fully vaccinated.
What is Lectio Divina?
This is a special time, set aside to spend in the company of our personal God, shutting out everything else.
It is a process of slowing down, quieting your mind, and listening to a chosen scripture.
You are asking God to reveal a word, phrase or picture from this scripture and exploring how this insight is related to your personal walk and your relationship with Him. The process is more listening than talking. There is no pressure to share your insights, but it does help the others in the group to grow.
If you are interested in attending, please let us know.
The good news of the Gospel opens the way for us to pray fervently and often, in Faith, believing because our Relationship is that of a family; we care for one another and for the Community around us.
We are definitely living in challenging times and many from our congregation and community cry out for health, healing, finances, relationships and many other requests. As the family of God we do not stand alone and the St. Andrew’s Prayer Chain is blessed to be able to come alongside those in need, praying for felt needs and rejoicing at the faithfulness of God to be more than enough.
If you have a prayer request, or a desire to have others come alongside you in prayer, please do not hesitate to send your request to:
