ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SESSION
Your Session would like to thank the congregation for their participation in the information meetings regarding the decision made by the Presbyterian Church in Canada about gender and sexuality. We are grateful for the input, which was reviewed at our Session meeting at the end of November. To allow us sufficient time to ponder this information and to continue our own personal research, we will not be voting on this matter until our next meeting on Jan 23, 2024.
Some people have indicated that they would like to continue the discussion. After some discussion about how to best facilitate this, it was decided that Session members would make themselves available to anyone who wants to ask more questions or provide more input.
A list of Session members is included here. If you would like to have further conversation, contact the elder of your choice and set up a mutually convenient time for discussion. The input received will be shared with all Session members.
We wish you many blessings during this Advent season.

Hello, Friends of St. Andrew’s! Dave and I are preparing for our first Christmas in our new home. We placed the crèche which you gifted me on our fireplace mantel. It is perfect there. I miss you all very much and am praying for you.
May you know the peace and joy of Jesus Christ as we celebrate His birth.

CHRISTMAS TEA & BAKE SALE
The Women’s Groups would like to thank our congregation for the tremendous help we received towards making our Tea and Bake Sale on December 2nd a success. The donation of baked goods, auction items and gifts of time in so many ways was gratifying and greatly appreciated.
Wishing everyone a very Blessed Christmas,
Merilyn Junkin
UPDATE FROM PERSONNEL
The Session wishes to advise that Dave Edney is no longer under contract with the church. Due to the change in priorities while searching for a new minister, an agreeable way of continuing Dave’s initiatives on Renewal could not be found.
We thank Dave for his contributions and wish him much success in his studies and in his activities in the community.
