A WARM WELCOME TO GUEST PREACHER, THE REV. KEITH KENEMY
The Rev. Keith Kenemy is a retired pastor who has served in churches for 40 years. Prior to this he had a career in sales and marketing. He was born in Montreal and was ordained in the Baptist church. His journey into ministry was fostered by compassion for teens and children and began when he served as Director of Montreal Youth for Christ. He graduated from Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale) in 1987 and served as a senior pastor in Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba, and also as the Director of Pastoral Care at Back to the Bible.
In retirement he has focused on writing, speaking and assisting churches. In October 2024, he published his first book, The True Gift of Christmas, a children’s story book with a matching colouring book which shares the true meaning of Christmas. More than 1,500 copies have been donated to the Salvation Army, churches and charitable organizations which reach out to underprivileged children.
He and his wife Loraine moved to Lindsay from Cochrane, Alberta 6 years ago and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
CHRISTMAS HAMPERS: A HUGE SUCCESS!
With the help of our St. Andrew’s Christmas driver elves we successfully delivered 52 hampers to those less fortunate individuals in our community. There was such a tremendous response from our church family that, from shopping to packing to delivering, the whole operation went smoothly and in a timely fashion.
As coordinator of this Outreach project I wish to express my gratitude to all who helped to ensure that the 52 hampers got to the people who needed it most.
It was the generous financial contributions from our church family that made it possible to fill each basket with enough food for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Christmas Day.
In particular, I wish to acknowledge the incredible support we received from Reid’s Valu-mart, Nesbitt’s Meat Market and Giant Tiger. The managers of these local stores allowed us to purchase bulk amounts at their sale prices and even ordered items which had passed the sale date and provided them to us at sale prices. How fortunate we are to have such tremendous local support.

BOOTS FOR KIDS
On behalf of ‘Boots for Kids’ I would like to thank you for your very generous support. Eighteen pairs of boots were bought and delivered, enabling 18 children to have warm, dry feet this winter. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and kindness,
